The invitation was never the hard part.

On 7 December 2024, Manu and Khushi got married. Everything after the invitation was run by one man, from his phone.

Months went into the card. Almost nothing went into what actually decides whether a wedding runs: who is coming, who needs a room, who lands when, and who is fetching them.

That fell to Manu’s father, Ravinder Singhal.

For weeks he was the system. The guest list lived in his phone. The room allocations lived on paper and in his head. Every relative who called at ten at night to ask which function was where, and what to wear, and whether their driver could park, reached him personally.

He did all of it, and he did it beautifully. He should never have had to.

India has spent twenty years perfecting the wedding invitation and built almost nothing for the two hundred families who receive it. That is the half nobody had made.

Khushi spent the year after her own wedding building it. Ravinder had already run the whole thing by hand, so he knew exactly what it needed to do.

ShaadiMode is that half. The invitation stays beautiful. Behind it now sits everything Ravinder was holding in his head: the guest list, the rooms, the pickups, the shagun, the running order of the day, and a WhatsApp assistant that takes the ten o’clock phone call.

So nobody’s father has to run the whole wedding from his phone again.
